5 things to do outdoors at UAlberta this weekend

Summer may be ending next week, but the weather’s still fine and there are plenty of chances to enjoy it this weekend. Here are five ideas to get you going.

1. Run with the nerds

Lace up your sneakers and hit the pavement in the N.E.R.D. Run to support brain research.

2. Roll out the Rainbow Welcome mat

The AIDS Walk for Life and Superhero Run is one of the kickoff events for the U of A’s Rainbow Welcome, a 10-day series of activities, workshops and lectures focused on the LGBTQ community.

3. Get in the scrum

Watch the Pandas rugby team take on the Lethbridge Pronghorns in their home opener. This year is the first time the team will play their home games at Foote Field, so let’s show them some love!

4. Tune up, turn on and drop in
